The facility is a bright and airy four storey building, consisting of 53 single furnished rooms with en-suites on Levels 3 and 4, and 35 residents who receive high care are housed on Level 2.  These 35 residents are accommodated in single or large three or four bedded fully furnished rooms.  There are activities rooms and dining rooms on each level. 

Large open air verandas look out over well manicured grounds towards Rushcutter's Bay.  There is a large sunny patio with garden furniture which is used by visitors, volunteers, residents and staff. Monthly barbecues for residents are also held here.

Residents have access to 24 hour-a-day nursing care by caring, professional staff.  Services provided are: a Chaplaincy Service, a comprehensive activities program (including bus trips), a hairdresser, podiatrist, physiotherapist, general practitioners and medical specialists visit the facility on a regular basis.  Newspapers and magazines are delivered daily and postal services are available on site.  Residents have access to a library and television with VCR and DVD players attached.
