Inner West Day Respite

PAC is now offering a new day respite service allowing carers time to care for their own needs & take a regular break from their caring role.

Funded by the National Respite For Carers Program & Australian Gov Dept of Health & Ageing, PAC respite service provides ongoing, planned & coordinated care either in the person?s home or one day a week in our respite centre.

Our staff have access to a range of activities to be able to provide meaningful & stimulating activities appropriate to the individual needs of each care recipient.

The Inner West Respite Service:

Enables carers to go to appointments to support their social & medical wellbeing
Supports working carers to continue working & caring

If attending the Day Respite Centre, morning tea & a hot lunch will be provided. Transport to & from the centre can also be arranged.

Fees:
Fees are charged following an assessment to assist with the running of the program.
No one is denied service on the basis of financial disadvantage
