The home is located a short distance from the beach and Stuart Park which is a large picnic area where the hang-gliders land.

We provide high care to 32 residents and we have one respite room. Olunda is an older style facility with the accommodation offered in either one of four single rooms or a shared room with 2, 3 or 4 beds.

It is a small facility though, and offers a homelike environment with catering done onsite and laundry facilities.

We offer a varied activities program catering to the resident's needs and fulfilling requests. The program includes small group activities (such as BBQs using our new covered outdoor area), outings (including wheelchair walks to Stuart Park), craft work and individual activities.

We offer Chaplain services by the Presbyterian, Baptist and Roman Catholic Churches. Other religious/spiritual personnel can contacted if requested.

There are strong ties to the local community, and Olunda is blessed to receive weekly visits from Red Cross volunteers, community visitors and a therapy dog.

 We have flexible visiting hours and visitors are welcome to use a small kitchen during their stay.

Our home is serviced by a large number of doctors and we have links with Wollongong Hospital and with The Illawarra Division of G.P's on medication management, as well as other heath professionals.
